One such Giant of the Irish Film Industry left the stage yesterday, but he and a small few trailblazers like him elevated our industry to one where we compete as equals on the world stage. Across all the disciplines and through all the grades, but especially for those starting out, Bronco always had kind, often humorous, words of encouragement and advice.
He represented the best of Irish Film at home and across the globe and many have been in contact to find a way give him a suitable memorial.
Whether it be a plaque, an annual trophy or a disbursement to a Stunt related charity, it would be a nice tribute from us all to mark the passing of a true legend of Irish film.
Donations will be passed on to Bronco’s wife Karen to dispense as she sees fit in the near future.
