We have some exciting news to share! Thanks to your incredible support, Bronx Bound Books' journey has taken us from a dream on wheels to a thriving kiosk at The Mall at Bay Plaza. Your enthusiasm has turned the page to our next big chapter: establishing a permanent brick-and-mortar bookstore by 2024.

Our kiosk has become a beloved community staple, but the demand for books and space for community events has outgrown our cozy corner. We envision a bookstore where we can continue to provide specially curated book collections of diverse authors, foster connection, nurture local talent, and become a sanctuary for book lovers of all ages.

Your contributions will go towards securing a space, initial stock, and the infrastructure needed to create a community hub dedicated to literacy and the love of reading in the Bronx. We are immensely proud of what we've achieved together and excited about the future.

We have an exciting update to share with you regarding our mission to bring a dedicated bookstore back to Bay Plaza. Thanks to your incredible support and the success of our Bookstore on Wheels initiative, we are thrilled to announce the launch of Phase 1 of our expansion plan.

Launching October 1st, 2023!

Phase 1 involves securing a kiosk on the 3rd floor of Bay Plaza Mall, near the food court. This strategic move will allow us to establish a physical presence in the community and pave the way for our ultimate goal of opening a dedicated storefront within the mall. With this exciting development, we are one step closer to fulfilling the book-loving dreams of our community.

To make this expansion possible, we are seeking your support through our GoFundMe campaign. Our goal is to raise $50,000, which will enable us to cover the costs associated with securing the kiosk, setting up a welcoming and functional space, and stocking it with a diverse selection of books that cater to the interests and needs of our community.
