Hello

My name is (Pamela) Jean I am representing the Bronze Sports &Social Club Wallasey. Our Social Club has been in the Community since 1847 - Historically it was a Working Men's Club linked to Stone Manganese a factory that made Ship Propellers hence the Name Bronze. Our Social Club is an important part if the Community especially in these times when this Social Environment is struggling to survive when costs of everything has increased dramatically. Electricity costs/heat light and ongoing maintenance are an ongoing problem. We have a Community that are enjoying the usual Social Club activities- eg. Live entertainment/ Bingo/ line Dancing/ Snooker indoor bowls and we are continually listening to Members and trying to meet requests for new Activities. We provide a great space for Local Groups to meet and provide Function space for private parties. One of our Members CASS GILES is completing the 100k walk over 2 days 8th & 9th June.The walk has a 50m & 1300km climb on day 1 and 50km & 1200 m day 2 this is equivalent to Climbing Ben Nevis & Snowden CASS is fundraising for her place of Work for Prostate Cancer and for The Bronze Club.
