Brookes Fight Against Cancer

Hey! Thank you for clicking this link and your interest to help. My name is Katelyn Williams. I have known and loved Brooke and her family for many many years. Brooke is married to Dennis and they have 2 beautiful boys, both still in school. Dennis & Brooke both work full time to provide for themselves, and their family. Brooke was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma that has metastasized. It has spread to 4 lymph nodes under her arms. Brooke is currently undergoing the “Red Devil” chemo. This treatment plan was what doctors suggested work the best for her situation. This has been extremely hard physically and mentally, but in true Brooke fashion she has taken it like a champ. She is the most determined, kind hearted person I know. I pray to one day have the strength she has, carried through this. The red devil has unfortunately affected her physically, more than we had hoped. She is experiencing a lot of pain, nausea, and drowsiness. She is waking up and going to work each day, to make sure her family doesn’t go without. Yet again, in true Brooke fashion.. she will make sure her family doesn’t go without. By donating to Brooke and her family, you will be helping with Brooke being able to miss work when she is sick/unwell without the stress of LIFE. I know we all know how that can be. Gas to and from treatment, meals for her family, and financial support all around. Insurance does cover a majority but the Buckner’s are still left with medical bills. I can’t imagine getting those bills, and paying to fight this horrible fight. Brooke is the most deserving person I know and truly has showed her strength in the midst of this storm. I hope these donations (none are too small) and your prayers can help this family in these trying times. I believe with all of my heart, God has his healing hand around Brooke and she is every bit of capable of beating this nasty “C” word.
