Brooklyn FIRE Fund for Delivery Workers

Donation protected

We are family of seven men who rented an apartment in a Brooklyn home for the last two years. We have made Brooklyn our home, where we have devoted our lives to work as food delivery workers.

Since last year, we have been struggling to survive this pandemic. For the last 10 months, we have been delivering food in the streets of New York City. We have been doing this work with love and honesty.

On January 25, 2021 at 8:30 AM, while we were sleeping our apartment caught a fire where we lost everything we had, our cloths, our e-bikes and all our personal belongings. This fire has left us with nothing.

During this difficult time, we are force to start all over again. Without our bikes, we are unable to work, pay our rent and everything we need to start our lives again.

We are hoping to count with the support to be able to overcome this new challenge. The funds are hoping to raise will help us cover the rent of our new apartment, recover our bikes and buy the essentials for us to be able to start again.

We welcome anything you can give us. Thank you for your support during this difficult time.

The name of beneficiary is Edwin Calel Sente. Edwin will be directly benefiting from this campaign, who also is part of the family.
