Brooklyn Half for "Bee a Blessing"

Donation protected
Hi friends!

On November 12, my sister, my dad, and I will be running in the Brooklyn Half-Marathon, and wanted to take this opportunity to run on behalf of a foundation that is very dear to our hearts.

My mom and her siblings recently created a non-profit public charity to commemmorate the kind and generous spirit of her sister, Janet Clendining Elliott. Janet was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes at the age of 6, and spent the entirety of her life courageously dealing with the devastating side effects of the disease. Regardless, she lived with grace and an endless optimism that things would always get better, and never lost her sense of humor and love of life. She so greatly impacted those who had the privilege of knowing her, and we were heartbroken when we lost her this past February.

Bee a Blessing, Inc. is a foundation that embodies the essence of Janet and aims to raise money and awareness for causes she valued, including children, animals, and organ and tissue donation. Its primary focus is to provide comfort to children who are struggling with their own medical hardships, and to do so with the joy, optimism, courage and humor Janet so naturally possessed.

We kindly ask that you would consider helping us raise money and awareness for Bee a Blessing as we run on behalf of the foundation and of Janet.  100% of the money raised on this page will be donated to Bee a Blessing.

Bee Kind.  Bee Inspired.  Bee a Blessing.

Thank you!
