Who I Am & Why I’m Here

My name is Brandon, just a kid from the heart of Brooklyn who learned early on that laughter can be the best lifeline. I grew up surrounded by cracked sidewalks, corner-store hustles, and a whole lot of scraped knees—both literally and metaphorically. Life wasn’t always easy, but that gritty environment ignited my passion for telling stories that speak to the raw, absurd, and sometimes dark corners of our world.

Why “Norfside”?

As someone who’s seen the clash of cultures and communities firsthand, I created Norfside to reflect the weird, wonderful contradictions of city life. It’s a place where Tesla drivers scream at kids on skateboards, where “Karens” call the cops for the silliest reasons, and where hustlers chase every dollar like it’s their last. Deep down, it’s the same Brooklyn hustle I grew up with—just reimagined with felt puppets, outrageous humor, and that no-holds-barred R-rated edge.

What I’m Building

I’m pouring my street smarts, creative vision, and a dash of Brooklyn grit into making Norfside a reality. It’s not just another comedy show—it’s a raw, unfiltered glimpse into the kind of stories that shaped me: the hustle, the humor, and the everyday madness of an evolving neighborhood. By combining puppetry with edgy storytelling, I’m able to say the things I couldn’t say before—giving voice to everyone who’s ever felt overlooked, underestimated, or ready to hustle for a better life.
