Brooklyn Survivors of Domestic Abuse

We're raising money to help survivors of domestic abuse here in Brooklyn transition from life in a shelter into their own home. After months of life in a shelter, moving into an apartment can be uniquely challenging and overwhelming—especially when there are children involved. So we're raising money to provide local survivors with the resources they need to transition smoothly—furniture, bedding, clothing and cooking supplies—and land on their feet in their new life.

All money raised with be distributed by People in Need, an extraordinary Brooklyn non-profit in Flatbush/Kensington that works tirelessly to assist local low-income families and individuals in the area. Learn more about People in Need here .
