Brother John Pohle

In the early morning hours on 4/30 Brother Pohle was struck and run over by rail cars while working as a utility man in the Marshalltown yard. As a result of the accident, Brother Pohle's right leg was amputated. Brother Pohle has been in a medically induced coma since the accident, has been through several surgeries with more to come, and is still fighting to survive. The road to recovery will be very long and difficult for Brother Pohle and his family.

Brother Pohle began his railroad career in 2007 and has been a career member of SMART TD Local 17.

Brother Pohle has 3 young sons and a wife waiting for him at home. Any help for this family is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
