Brother Justin’s Journey for a Heart Transplant
Donation protected
Howdy! My name is Brother Justin Boren. As many of you already know, while serving at the American Indian Christian Mission in Show Low, Arizona this past Summer, I suffered Stage 4 Heart Failure. I was diagnosed with a restrictive cardiomyopathy. Simply put, the left ventricle of my heart is not pumping blood at the rate it should be. I spent over a week in the ICU at Summit Health Regional before making the track back to Texas. Since returning to Texas, I have been overseen by the Advanced Heart Team at Baylor Scott & White Dallas who have a plan in place. Over the next year to two years, I will require at least three surgeries and the last being a heart transplant because I have been told that my heart is not getting better. Though, this is counting out what my God is doing in my body. My new heart was paid for 2000 years ago on the cross. My God is faithful and zealous that way. If you feel led in joining my family and I in the finished works of Jesus Christ and what we are believing for; please pray, receive, and respond by standing in agreement with us during this amazing opportunity to live out HIS perfect nature. It is the HE in ME, the ME because of HIM. We give him all glory, honor, and praise for this Healing in advance. It is done!
Isaiah 53:5 “By his single stripe, we are healed.”
