Nafees Ijaz - loving father, husband, son & a beautiful soul

Nafees Ijaz migrated to Australia in 2014 and recently moved to Deloraine a month ago for his NBN work. He lived in Hobart over a year before moving to Deloraine.

Last night, during his NBN work, he met an accident when he was working underneath the house, and he passed away at 10.30pm approximately. Nafees left behind a mourning widow, three children (all under the age of 8), he was on 485 visa with no medical insurance as he recently received his 190 nominations.

He worked on ABN and doesn’t have work or death cover. His family requests his body to be repatriated to Pakistan. His corpse is in Hobart today for autopsy and likely to be released in a week's time. The cause of death has been suspected to be electrocution or sudden medical issue.

He was a loving husband, father and a respected community member.
