Brothers Reunited- Please help the McKnight Family
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
My name is Nicole and I am starting this fundraiser to help the McKnight family during this difficult time.
Joshaua Timothy McKnight passed away on August 11, 2024 after a long battle with epilepsy. He leaves behind his 3 children, Donovan, Brady and Journi, His wife Monique McKnight, and his mother and father, Terry and Ted (Gary) McKnight.
Joshaua was born in Fort Polk on November 28, 1978. He went to Bear Creek High School. He enjoyed working with his hands and had a gift when it came to automotives. He was also an amazing artist with a love of tattooing. He met Monique and started a little family that brought him joy. He loved all of his children immensely and will be missed by so many.
Monique was Joshaua’s primary care giver. She went from the role of wife and mother to nurse when she herself was recovering from heart surgery. Monique was there taking care of Joshaua during some of the most difficult medical journeys, both mental and physical, that you can imagine. At this time Monique is heavily burdened with the task of picking up her life with her young daughter and starting all over. We are asking to find it in your heart to help in anyway you can.
Many know the McKnight family from a horrible incident that took the life of Joshaua's brother. Jakeob McKnight in 1991. A case that remains unsolved to this day. Though this is not how Joshaua will be remembered, the family finds a little peace knowing these brothers have been reunited.
Services for Joshaua Timothy McKnight will be held at Aspen Mortuary in Lakewood, Colorado. On August 30, 2024, at 1:00 pm. Please, if you are able please donate, and if you can’t that is ok too. Just share. Keep Joshaua’s family in your prayers as they get through the unimaginable.
