Hi, my name is Becky and I am a Usborne Partner. I love helping out schools where needed and this is definitely needed.

you may be aware Brougham school nursery was badly affected by fire last night and we are raising funds through usborne to get some free books, the only way we can do this is for business and people to donate money towards the school.

Usborne’s Community Book Pledge is a nationwide initiative to help schools and nurseries across the UK and Europe benefit from more books, boosting literacy levels through encouraging reading for pleasure. With the help of local businesses, thousands of schools across the UK and Europe have been able to fill their libraries and classroom bookshelves and raise a new generation of confident and engaged readers and we would love your support to do the same for our school.

With the help of local businesses, we are aiming to collect £1000 in donations for the school, and Usborne will then generously provide an additional £600 worth of free books on top of this. This money will allow us to completely transform the school’s nursery and all the books the lost in the fire.

You can support us by pledging any amount of money towards buying new books for the school and all donation amounts will be gratefully received.
