Brown Manor - Hope for the Homeless
Donation protected
Brown Manor is the first project supported by The Jeanette Joan Saffold Foundation which is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Our dream is to have a place where people who are lost, left out, and lonely can find support to restore their lives. For those who are survivors of childhood trauma, abuse, substance use, and past incarcerations, we know how vital it is for someone to have a safe place of rehabilitation. From being homeless for 23 years to having a reason to live, our founder felt a strong desire to give back to those who are just like he was. He has lived on the streets and wants to offer a hand-up to those who want something more than just a handout.
Now we are asking for your help. The house is being restored, just as his life has been. Currently, roofing, heating, plumbing and other construction issues are needed. This house was abandoned when we acquired it, sort of like his life was. He was able to write a book about his life to help support this cause but he cannot do this alone. We would like to have the world community be part of this.
At one point in his life, he had given up, but now he has been given a purpose. We want Brown Manor to be about all of us who believe that each life matters. Each donation would be your part of giving someone else the gift that he has found; this gift is called Hope.
