8TH Tynemouth Scouts, Brownsea Camp

Hi

In July our Scouts are embarking on a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to visit where Scouting began!!

We are staying at Buddens Activity Centre, Dorset, where our Scouts will learn new skills, and have also planned a trip to Brownsea Island, where the first trial camp was held.

We are based in Wallsend, Newcastle upon Tyne, so it's quite a distance and expense to get to Dorset.

The Scouts are eager to take on challenges, including sponsored swims and cycling to help with the costs, and the Leaders and Parents are also supporting them by holding other fundraising activities.

We would really appreciate your help in supporting them to reach their goal, and making this trip as memorable as possible!
