Browyn&Braylee (in Matt's remembrance)
Donation protected
In February, Matt Dishun unexpectedly passed away and left his wife, Sherry, and two daughters, Browyn and Braylee. Matt took care of his family and was proud of his daughter's accomplishments. He did house projects, smoked different meat for dinner, cheered loudly for any football game, killed bugs around the house, and helped with any problem that started with "hey dad...".
Matt helped Browyn with his BBQ skills at her work event and had promised to help her find her first house.
Matt helped Braylee with her lacrosse skills in high school (which led him to become head coach) and promised to be her 'test patient' for physical therapy.
Sherry is asking that people donate to help the girls with their immediate and future financial security.
Both Browyn and Braylee are graduating in May 2023 from Miami University; Browyn with her Masters in Social Work and Braylee with her Bachelors in Kinesiology.
Browyn will pursue a career in social work counseling. Braylee will pursue her PhD in physical therapy.
In the words of one of Matt's favorite songs, "If I had a million dollars..."
(We are not actually expecting a million dollars, but we had to set a goal, why not aim high?)
Thank you for all the kind thoughts and prayers. And most of all, loving Matt as much as we do.
