Bruce “Hollywood” Wilson Needs Your Help

Bruce is a father of two children and a grandfather. Bruce is a graduate of Lindblom Technical High School in Chicago. He also attended Howard University where he joined Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. Bruce is also known on the South Side of Chicago for his love of baseball with Skyline Baseball League. Skyline is something that he was passionate about and worked hard to ensure that south side youth were afforded the the same opportunities as other communities. He also wanted to use this program as a vehicle to teach, instill life lessons and values that youth could take with them ad they grew toward adulthood. If anyone knows Bruce then you”ll also know his motto, “Hollywood loves the kids”. That’s his line and he’s sticking to it.

Bruce is self-employed contractor. In August 2022, he suffered a stroke and was hospitalized for several weeks. After being released, he suffered a more severe stroke in October. This stroke left him hospitalized for two months and unfortunately he contracted Covid . He lost some of his memory and motor skills as a result of his 2nd health setback , but with the Grace of God; the memory and motor skills are coming back each and everyday. To date, Bruce is currently going through occupational, speech and therapy in a rehab facility. Due to his present situation he’s unable to meet some of his pressing financial obligations- medical, day to day self care expenses, mortgage and home maintenance. Here is where I’m asking for your help to raise $ 10,000 to assist his family cover some of these expenses, lighten the load on his children and make the necessary accommodations that will needed for his home when he transitions from rehabilitation.
