Hi, My name is Richard Alesky.

Our community was one in the path of the Naperville-Willow Springs EF3 Tornado on Father's Day.

As the VP of the HOA, I'm working with the residents of Bruce Lake Downers Grove to raise money to help with the cleanup and tree removal effort. There are dozens of homes that have suffered damage and 100's of trees, some 80 foot tall, that have either uprooted or have been damaged beyond saving.

Although homeowners insurance covers all structural home damage, less deductible, the trees are NOT covered by insurance. The removal of a tree can cost over $2000 and many of our residents are either retired or don’t have that sort of disposible income available.

Our goal is to raise $50,000 to assist our residents with some of this financial burden. It is only a drop in the bucket, but every little bit helps.
