Bruce Morgan Moeller Memorial Fund

My name is Amber-Jade Moeller, but to my family and friends, I go by A.J.
I ask that you please forgive me for how long this has taken, as this is the first Gofundme account I’ve ever created…
it’s also the hardest thing I’ve ever had to write.
I am the only niece to Bruce Moeller, who tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident on the late afternoon of March 28th, 2021.
I am requesting help on behalf of my grandmother, Patricia “Patty” Moeller, who will be paying for her son's services and celebrations. She is turning 90 this year and is on limited income that goes almost entirely to her assisted living costs. This is her second son to pass away tragically and unexpectedly, and no parent should have to go through this. Any help you can provide will go towards funeral expenses and her wishes to have his final remains cremated and placed to rest with his late brother, Stephen Moeller at the Holy Sepulcrhe Cemetery in Hayward, CA.
When I learned of my uncle’s passing, my heart shattered. Not just for my loss of an Uncle, but for my cousin's loss of her father, my Grandmother’s loss of her son, and my father’s loss of his brother. He was truly a unique presence in our lives, and our family will never be the same without him.
We also know this will be a tremendous loss for his riding family, as he was very much loved in the motorcycle community. Our hearts go out to all of you as well.
Bruce Morgan Moeller was the third son born to William and Patricia Moeller on February 11th, 1960.
He was a younger brother to Cindy, Thomas “Tom”, and our dearly missed Stephen Moeller; an older brother to Richard “Ricky” Moeller; and an uncle to A.J. and Billy Moeller.
He was also the very close cousin (but more of a brother) to Mark Donovan.
He was most definitely one of those “Moeller boys” you’ve been warned about.
Bruce was – and will always be – a loving father, and now a guardian angel, to his only child - his daughter - Stephanie Anne Moeller.
He was a wonderful and loving Grandfather to Danielle Moeller whom he was always head over the moon proud of. He never stopped bragging about how smart and amazing his granddaughter was.
And last – but not least – Bruce was a great friend…
And to so many in the riding community … he was family.
A Wild and Free Spirit
If you knew Bruce, you knew that riding was in his blood. He lived his life on two wheels, always ready to go where his ride could take him, and man... was he proud of that bike:
A fire-red, 2002 American Ironhorse Texas Chopper with custom vibrant flame accents.
He loved his bike so much, he even had pairing tattoos on his forearms.
But he wasn’t just a rider, he was an exceptional machinist of over 30 years, he was an adventurer, an explorer, a nomad, a wild and free spirit ... to the very end.
Bruce’s love for the road-life took him on cross-country rides, extended motorcycle runs, music festivals, unique bars, billiards, and casinos. And when he wasn’t living his life on the open road, he was living his dream in the great outdoors, from camping and hiking in the wild, to fishing and boating on the water. He crossed paths with so many lives along the way and left behind so many unforgettable memories (both good and bad, I’m sure).
Bruce was an enthusiast for life, a risk-taker, a life-on-the-edge, rough and tough, stubborn as all hell, no-fucks-given kind of guy – but underneath it all, he was just a big ol' teddy bear with a huge heart, a boisterous laugh, and a big smile on his face. He always had adventure in sight and a huge passion for living his life to the fullest. And I wouldn’t believe it if I didn’t see it, but the man could tear up a dance floor if you gave him enough liquid courage.
He was a force to be reckoned with, his presence in this world was so impressionable … and even more irreplaceable, and he will be missed profoundly.
So it’s hard to decide on just one way to celebrate the life of Bruce Morgan Moeller, because he really was a man of many traits, talents, and loves.
One could even say (and I can hear his infectious laugh as I type this)
He was, in so many ways… The Man… the Myth… the Legend.
Upcoming Services and Celebrations
On behalf of our family, we would like to ask for your help – because there is so much we want to do to honor the mark he left on this world.
Although we would like to celebrate his life in a monumental way as soon as possible, unfortunately, our timeline is at the mercy of Covid regulations. In the meantime, we are working on the following celebrations:
A Family Funeral Service:
We will be holding a small final viewing in order to say our final farewells. However we are only allowed a limited number of visitors to see him in his final viewing before his cremation. With respect to his mother, his daughter, and our family, we are reserving this precious time for immediate family only. We sincerely apologize and hope you understand.
Celebration of Life for Bruce Moeller:
After his cremation, we are planning to hold a Celebration of Life where we would like to invite everyone who knew and loved Bruce. Again, due to the pandemic, this has been a challenge, so we have decided to wait until after the state opens back up in June (per Gov. Newsome’s announcement).
This will include the service of placing some of his ashes with his older brother, Stephen, at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward, CA. Followed by a celebration of his life where we invite you to share memories, photos, stories, laughs, toasts and farewells.

UPDATE (5/30/21): Bruce’s Celebration of Life will be held at the Moose Lodge on 7/31/2021 from 3:30pm - 8:00pm. More details and event will be posted by this Monday, May 31st.
A Memorial Run:
For those in his riding family, we would also like to help organize a memorial run in honor of his deep love for riding. We ask for your patience in planning this event as it will be in the near future.
Please check back for further details regarding all celebrations.
Additionally, if anyone has any suggestions or information that could help with any of these events, please feel free to contact me here or via Facebook Messenger. If you are unable to provide monetary support... prayers and positive thoughts are also gladly welcomed.

Regarding the accident itself, due to the circumstances and sensitivity of the situation, this is an ongoing investigation. At this time, we are only able to share the following report:

We are doing everything in our available power to make sure we get all the information in order to have a better understanding of what happened that day. We only want the best for my Uncle, but due to the unexpected nature of this situation, there are still a lot of affairs to get in order.

Again, our family thanks you for all your kind thoughts, prayers, and support as we get through this difficult process. We are only able to get through this a bit easier because of all the love that we have received. Thank you and God Bless.
