Bruce Thigpen Memorial

On Wednesday, February 19th, our family suffered a terrible loss. We lost our beloved Bruce, unexpectedly and tragically. We are working through the grief one day at a time and have been touched by the support and condolences here at home and around the country. 

The outpouring of love expressed by his fellow Marines, his Solar Turbines family, his friends and family has been amazing.  Bruce touched the lives of many people; his smile and laugh was infectious. He was a dedicated father to his two girls and always so proud of all their accomplishments. He loved his wife, Kari, dearly and needless to say, she is devastated.

We have made arrangements for a Memorial to be held at Miramar National Cemetery on March 5th, at 2:00PM.  We have set up the Go Fund Me in an effort to help Kari and his daughters, Natalie and Rachel, while they make this difficult transition. Any donations received will go toward mortuary costs, emergency travel and remaining college expenses for the girls.
