Brufut Education Project (Aja Fatou Bah School)

THE PROJECT
We operate a mixed community school (Aja Fatou Bah School) in Brufut, The Gambia, which currently has 220  students. 

We currently offer basic education in literacy,maths, religious education and computer classes. However our goal is to surpass national curriculum requirements to create a safe and supportive space for youths to grow into enlightened leaders and workers of tomorrow. 

We used to offer theatre workshops,a free school lunch ,screen printing, sewing, free adult literacy class plus cultural and sporting events for the local community. Unfortunately these activities have been temporarily suspended due to insufficient funding. However with your assistance, we would like to resurrect all these activities for the benefit of the local community.

WHAT WE NEED
Our aim is to establish an educational foundation that nurtures each student, giving them exceptional educational facilities, along with artistic, technical, and environmental skills to be the leaders of tomorrow.

The majority of these children have neither lunch, stationery uniform (this includes decent shoes) to see them through.

Your donation shall benefit them as well as Teachers salary, Administration and Upkeep of projects.
