Bruin Racing Baja - Model 23

We are a team of UCLA undergraduate students working each year to design, build, and race a single-seat, high-performance off-road vehicle. Every year, over 80 undergraduate UCLA students, regardless of prior knowledge or financial situation, have the opportunity to gain valuable real-world engineering team experience through Bruin Racing Baja.

Members initiate the process from the ground up, starting with creating detailed models and drawings, progressing to the manufacturing and testing of the final product. As a testament to our commitment to accessibility, we have never imposed applications or membership fees for Baja. This dedication ensures that Baja graduates are exceptionally well-prepared for their chosen careers, with a role for everyone to play in their success.

To keep our zero-membership-fee promise, we're raising money to pay for the manufacturing and building of the car, as well as food, lodging, and transportation of our vehicles and ourselves to competition. We only receive limited funding from the university itself (less than 30 percent of our costs), so we rely on the generous support of sponsors and donors like yourself to make the Baja experience accessible to all UCLA students.
