35 brilliant Birmingham writers, 35 precious Birmingham community libraries, one protest zine.
As Birmingham’s community libraries are threatened with devastating cuts, Brum Library Zine brings together 35 diverse Birmingham writers to champion every one of our city’s libraries.
Highlighting the richness of Birmingham’s literary culture, the zine makes clear that legacy would not exist without the power of libraries to transform lives and nurture readers and writers.
Our writers, artists and designers all feel passionately about the library campaign and are working for free. The only thing we can't make happen for free is printing. This is where we need your help. We'd love copies of the zine to be freely available in every one of the community libraries in Birmingham for readers to take away and keep. To make this happen we need just £15 per library. Could you donate a few pounds to supply free copies for your local library and help in the fight back against these devastating cuts?
Thank you and let's keep fighting for what we love!
