Help Bryan get to IPC Para Ice Hockey World Cup

My name is Bryan.

MY GOAL IS TO STOP GOALS at the IPC World Cup which is being played in December.

I am absolutely honoured and delighted to have been selected to play at the International Paralympic Para Ice Hockey Group C World Cup.

I have been playing for GB for about 12 years and in that time have been part of the squad which won a Bronze Medal in the World Champions a few years ago. Now we want to upgrade that bronze medal to Gold and to be part of that team will mean so much to me. That’s not all , success at these games will launch us on the journey to qualify for the Paralympic Winter games!!!!!

It means the world to me to have this opportunity to help my team achieve our dream of playing in the Paralympic Winter games.The last time we played, in Italy, before Covid, was my personal best tournament to date. I won 2 man of match awards and the GB Supporters Club player of the tournament.

not all , success at these games will launch us on the journey to qualify for the Paralympic Winter games.

My ultimate dream is representing my Country in my favourite sport at the Paralympic Winter Games. I have worked hard and pushed myself, training both on and off ice, to reach the level of an international Net minder in these games.

Born with Spina Bifida, and on more than one occasion not expected to survive,I have always been determined to prove that I don’t have a disability but a different ability.

I started playing for a team in Hull but then became a founding member of Sheffield Steel Kings who are one of the most successful teams at league level winning the league on more than one occasion and the playoffs as well.

Unfortunately this sport currently gets no funding and each athlete has been tasked with raising £2000.00 to cover travel, accommodation and tournament fees for this competition.
