Help Bryan Relocate to Washington DC for a new job

I'm Bryan, and this is so hard but I am humbling myself to ask for assistance.

I have just gone through the most difficult year of my entire life. I have been without a job for 10 months (longest time in my life) and have been homeless in the state of Louisiana, living in my vehicle.

I have applied to over 500 jobs over this time period and it wasn't until recently, after applying to jobs in major cities across the nation, that I was finally able to get an official job offer.

I was offered a position as the Lead Audio Visual Specialist at Mayer Brown LLC, in downtown Washington DC. The pay is excellent and the benefits are even better!

Unfortunately, it does not come with a relocation package. And due to many reasons, including my mother passing away on January 21st, 2024, and being without a job for so long, I am financially unable to get to DC without help from you guys.

This is so embarrassing for me to create a GoFundMe but I haven't been able to find any other way to get me to DC so I can make a better life for myself and my family.

I am reaching out to anyone who is able to help me reach my goal of $5000. This amount is so I can pay for the travel to DC, the procurement of a place to stay, which is the first month's rent and a deposit, and living expenses until I can get my first paycheck.

I am willing to pay back whatever is given if you can notate that when you give and I will reimburse as soon as I possibly can.

I feel I have been blessed with this opportunity in DC. I have been working through the interview process for over a month, and after 5 interviews, they extended an offer above and beyond what I expected.

I am asking for your help to get me to DC for this job. I need to be there and ready to begin by February 5th 2024.
