Bryant Community Center Back to School Picnic
Please help Bryant Community Center prepare neighborhood students to head back to school in person after a very long year and a half. We are working to make this year's Back to School Picnic on August 26th extra special. This event will gather the neighborhood to say goodbye to Summer and boost energy for the coming school year.
Bryant Community Center serves some of Ann Arbor's most underserved, racially diverse and vital neighborhoods. It is a program of Community Action Network (CAN).
Bryant/CAN's after school tutoring and academic enrichment programs contribute to its students' 97% high school graduation rate v. 70% rate for AAPS low-income students (2015).
Bryant/CAN's after school and basic need services are so successful that in the last 15 years there have been ZERO evictions due to nonpayment of rent.
Your contribution will help provide up to 100 students and family members:
- Barber and hair braiding services on site
- Free Books
- School Supplies
- An amazing feast
- A photo backdrop by Synechedoche Design x Mike Han
- Memories
Please help wrap Ann Arbor's arms around the Bryant Community Center. They deserve our support.
