Extended Leave

As Rhianne and I follow the path that has been chosen for us, we must make decisions on how we want to live our lives . The sacrifices we will make, the time we will deligate, the priorities that will change. One of our largest concerns is how we will prepare for when our daughter finally gets a chance to come home. We are educating ourselves about programs that are available and assistance for families that are in our situation. In that, we may find suitable alternatives to substain our current expenses however it may be just up to us to provide .  Our intentions are to spend as much time as possible home with our daughter to experience and learn all about what will be needed from us. Our daughter will require 2 certified or trained adults to administer her daily kidney dialysis and we may also need a possible change in home ammenities to accomodate her needs. The ultimate goal is to spend as much time performing the dialysis on our own to experience the troubles or concerns that will be inherited. We will have exhausted our vacation and sick days from work and the disability allowance may leave us vunerable to having to choose work over home stay. If anything could be achieved by donation that could allow for an unpaid stay home, the state would  protect our jobs, however it would be with no pay. Its difficult to reach out, everyone has responsibilities, they have families, goals they've set for their future. We understand this and by no means want anyone to feel pressured by our request. It is your responsibility to take care of you and your loved ones first as it is the same for us. If you find that after your primary responsibilities are taken care of and that you might be able to afford losing that Starbucks coffee a couple times a week, please consider making a small donation to our family. We have 3 to 4 months before our daughter is anticipated to come home leaving room for small donations to make a difference.  We already appreciate your time, the decision to care and your considerations. The future holds what it will and it promises only to be there. Our daughter Bryleigh is the ultimate fighter, she is the brightest star, digging her way out of the hole the first part of her life has put her in. She will know you and your love and support. We will teach her how to be compassionate and pray to have her blessed with a kind servants heart.  Again, please don't feel any guilt or pressure, that's how I feel sometimes when people ask me for help and I can't. If nothing else pray for her and us and we will have received the best gift you can give.  Thank you
