A message from Bryce’s Aunt Heidi;

It is with extreme sadness that we are grieving the loss of Bryce Gerlach. Bryce was a bright star in this world, and he will be deeply missed. Bryce touched the lives of so many in his community and it’s our turn to give back to his family in their time of need. We are raising money to cover the costs of the funeral and other financial burdens associated with this tragedy as his passing was completely unexpected. Any excess donations will be used to set up the Bryce Gerlach Memorial Scholarship.

The Bryce Gerlach Memorial Scholarship fund will be a way to honor Bryce’s memory by helping others pursue their education. The criteria for the scholarship will reflect the values, compassion and interests Bryce had. We cannot think of a better way to keep Bryce’s spirit alive. Every time a scholarship is awarded, it will be a reminder of the difference Bryce is still making in the world. It will turn our grief into something positive. For students receiving the memorial scholarship in Bryce’s name, it will be more than financial help, they will become a piece of a story and legacy, motivating them to serve others and succeed.
