Bryce Reeg - Medical Recovery Fund
Donation protected
Late Saturday evening December 10, 2016...Bryce Michael Reeg , one of Bellevue’s most loved local musicians, was maliciously beaten after playing a gig in Dubuque Iowa. He was attacked blindly from behind and never threw a punch. This criminal broke his jaw in 3 places. Bryce had to have metal plates put in and suffered through a 3 hour reconstructive surgery on Sunday. Bryce’s jaw unfortunately was wired shut and will remain so for couple months. Besides his jaw, he has nerve damage on his left side of his face. He was thrown down into the concrete and punched repeatedly on the back of his head and face. He will have a long road ahead of him as he heals from these injuries. It’s unimaginable to realize the amount of physical and mental pain Bryce is going through. Prayers and well wishes are greatly needed to help in his recovery.
His career as a professional musician has come to an abrupt stop, as well as his ability to work his new day career. Bryce has had to cancel all of his performances and other opportunities for income. While we can’t take the physical pain away, we are asking for your help, small or large to help take the financial burden away. We’re hoping to raise $3000 to cover his cancelled gigs. We are going to be holding a fundraiser and jam session on New Year’s Day at Lock 12 Music. We hope that Bryce will feel well enough to attend and hear all the musicians that are coming out to support him that day. Whether or not you can attend, we appreciate the donations through this Go Fund Me page…a check will be cut directly to him.
Knowing Bryce, he is going to fast track his way back into playing music again! He is a hard worker, volunteer, loyal friend, son, brother, and soon to be uncle…who will push through the pain to a full recovery.
