Bryce Varcoe Road To Recovery Post Brainbleed

https://www.facebook.com/7NEWSPerth/videos/765379360705440 After Wednesday 30/9/2020 Bryce come home after a sparring session with a slight headache after having a shower it had intensified and he begun to throw up violently.
His father Rick had luckily identified the symptoms of concussion or a brain bleed and quickly called the Ambulance for assistance.
After going through to joondalup hospital he was transferred to RPH where he is currently.
Upon reaching RPH he was diagnosed with two brain ruptures/hemorrhages. Both on the left side one in the frontal lobe and one in the rear.
He was then rushed into surgery where a C shaped section of skull was removed from front to back of his left side roughly an inch in thickness and 300mm in length.
Currently Bryce is under intense monitoring for further bleeding and hourly testing of brain function and body functions.
He has a long road ahead of him.
Once out of hospital he will be looking at an over 6 months recovery period with no work or physical activity allowed along with intensive rehab.
Anyone who knows Bryce knows he is a fighter. He is the last person to ask anyone for help and has never expected anything from anyone. He is super hard working often working his full time job and then again with myself over the weekends.
I have done this to show him that he is not alone and the that the boxing and Mauy thai community is behind him through this as it is the biggest fight of his life.
