Bryerley Springs Pony Club
Bryerley Springs Pony Club Centre is part of The Pony Club - an international voluntary youth organisation, with the largest membership of young riders globally. We aim to make the sport less elite and more accessible and run events, competitions and other Pony Club related activities. That’s where we need your help:
As a result of the pandemic, the ability to fundraise has been severely limited. Timing is of the essence and we need your help to raise funds to enable our members to continue experiencing and participating in Pony Club activities.
As a Pony Club centre we encourage all members to take part in many pony club activities and we even support those who do not have their own horse, which includes providing vital assistance with liveries & loaners without transport to competitions. We are one of a very select few pony club centres that allows our riders to take the riding school ponies out and away from the yard to enjoy various competitions.
All Pony Club members have the opportunity to earn badges for their achievements, take tests from beginner level to proficiency and join competitions in various disciplines. Additionally, our members can participate in on-site dressage and show jumping shows, gymkhanas, Halloween & Christmas parties, Easter Egg hunts and our popular pony club camps (which take place during the summer holidays).
To be able to continue to support our riders, we have decided to set up this GoFundMe page with the aim of being able to provide all of our youth riders with the opportunity to fulfil their true potential.
We are proud of the fact that in our 7th Year, we already have a record 21 children who would like to represent our Pony Club at the Area 12 qualifier competitions, which lead to the Regional and National Championships. The children will enter in teams and as individuals at different levels in Dressage, Eventing and Show jumping against other pony clubs.
To make this happen, we need to raise funds to cover the following costs.
Team Kit to include:
· Team Coats £500
· Cross Country Clothing £150
· Embroidered saddle pads £640.00
· Competition Entry £810.00
· Transport to Events £500.00
· Team Coaches £750.00
If our members qualify for the championships, they will need an approx. further £3,000 for team training, entry fees, travel, and accommodation. We are also looking to offer additional activities and purchase new equipment to support and bring on the next generation of our Pony Club!
