Thank you so much for a taking a minute to read my GoFundMe page! My name is Brynne and I am stay at home mom of three boys (6 years, 2 years, and 1 year) from Denver, Colorado. I have been given the honor and opportunity to run the 121st Boston Marathon on April 17, 2017. I will be running with the Boston Fire Department, and in memory of a dear family friend, Ann Marie. In honor of Ann Marie I will be raising money for the Ann Marie Ford Scholarship, which will go to St. Brendan Elementary School in Dorchester, Massachusetts.
Ann Marie was a good family friend who was taken from us too soon. Ann Marie passed away from a brain tumor on Mother’s day 2008. She was a gorgeous, vibrant, kind, and loving woman. She left behind a wonderful husband and two beautiful children. She was also very passionate about Irish step dancing and devoted much of her time to raising money for her daughters dance school and St Brendan Elementary School.
I wanted to share a couple quotes about Ann Marie from the people that loved her so much.
“Ann Marie was a terrific mother and everything revolved around the kids.”
“Her greatest attribute was being there for people who had hardships in their lives. Whether it was an illness, injury, or death, Ann Marie was there to help. Cooking meals, organizing a fundraiser, or helping out any way she could.”

“On the way to the funeral, we passed St Brendans Elementary school. The students of the school lined the streets to say goodbye”
