    It is with great sadness that we inform you, Benjamin Simon has passed away on June 25, 2019. Ben was a dedicated father, loving husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He brought joy and laughter to many, and was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Ben leaves behind the love of his life Jordena and their 2 incredible children, 7 year old Annabelle and 5 year old Charles. Nothing was more important to Ben than his 2 children. He would want them to have the brightest future and opportunity. 

   We have created this go-fund-me account to help with some immediate needs for Jordena as well as to create a future trust for Annie and Charlie. All proceeds will go directly to Jordena and the kids. Please help Jordena keep Ben’s memory alive by supporting this fund for the children’s education and needs.     Ben and Jordi met in 2010 and the love they had for each other was ever lasting. Annabelle was born in the winter of 2012 and Ben and Jordi were married the next fall. They welcomed baby Charles in the summer of 2014 and their family was complete. That fall Ben was told he had cancer. He was always optimistic and was ready for the battle against cancer. Ben was and always will be the bravest man many of us have ever met. Ben continued his career with the Calgary RCMP, supported his family, travelled with Jordi, loved his children and always enjoyed socializing and having fun in life. Ben never gave up on his fight, he did chemo, radiation, countless surgeries, trial treatments, medications, and prayer. In the end his body needed pain free rest and that’s when the angels were called and Ben was no longer suffering but at peace in heaven, his final resting place.
