BSL families

This fundraising will enable us to support our parents children and young people learn BSL.

Talking Hands have subsidised or paid for our parents and young people learn BSL over the last 5yrs.These classes are not free to deaf children or their families and children are not taught or given the opportunity to learn in schools. We want them to have qualifications and continue to learn. We want our parents to learn and be able to support their children.

We have tried to continue to offer support as want our children to learn, be informed, understand and use their own language and learn about their own culture. Some of our children who benefits  are hearing children from Deaf families, all are taught by Deaf Teachers.

Sadly the coronavirus has impacted on all of us our fundraising activities, and possibly our ability to continue to support.

We are aiming to raise £5000 initially to support our families and our children. We know it’s a big ask and we thank you in advance donate what you can.
