Brian Davis Memorial Fund

Brian Davis was one of those few people you meet in life that is truly special. Brian had a big smile on his face everytime I saw him. It didnt matter if we were heading offshore in freezing temperatures or sweating it out under the hot summer sun. We spent thousands of hours together drifting offshore diving in the best and worst conditions you would want to be out in. Brian was a true waterman. I feel like everyday he was surfing, diving, fishing, or hunting. We are going to miss Brian dearly and hope to memorialize him with a ship wreck ( artificial reef) in his name. We are well on our way to our goal I cant beleive what has happend in just a few short days. Thank each and every one of you. 

Love you bro, the ocean will never be the same without you.

Any funds left over from the creation of the artificial reef will be used to start a Brian Davis Scholarship at Marine Quest. Brian learned to love the ocean at Marine Quest and hopefully we can bring that joy to others. 



To give some updates that this site requires I am adding this info. 

My name is Sam Blount and Brian was one of my best friends. We met through spearfishing and we mentored each other to be better and safer divers. The funds from this will be used to create an artificial reef in Brian's name. When we reach our goal I intend to send the funds to the Artificial reef program of NC to make this a reality. I fully intend to dive on the Brian Davis Wreck in the near future.
