Legal help

Hello, my name is Sean Paez. 18 years ago, I made a mistake. It was not intentional and I have, everyday, had to pay for that mistake. It has effected all facets of my life. How long should someone have to pay for something that happened so long ago? I am seeking to get my name cleared not only through the legal system but through a net reputation company. The total cost is around $20k. Recently diagnosed with kidney failure and unable to work, it is impossible for me to raise these funds. I am asking for help. Anything you can offer. I hate doing this as I was always raised to work for something. If I could I would. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
