Help our Angel fly home

Our friend Margaret has had a difficult year and has been hospitalized for at least 6 months. Few know her history as her family have never burdened anyone with complaints. They take things in stride and continue to work through life's trials. To say the challenges have been rough is putting it mildly (all while Jeff struggles through his own cancer). A kidney transplant from a generous donor (and it's ultimate failure after over a decade), heart surgery, sepsis, inherited diabetes... the list is a long one. Margaret, after a courageous struggle, unfortunately ended up with calciphylaxis and has been sent home to hospice. Her husband Jeff, who has been by her side and at the hospital every single day, is of course devastated. Margaret and Jeff have worked constantly in their lives to provide for themselves while also giving time to those in need. To say that they’ve worked tirelessly is an understatement. Margaret spent decades caring for the marginalized and mentally challenged. Those who are familiar with group home living and social services know it's demands. Margaret gave unwavering attention and all with her usual positive disposition and beautiful smile. Unfortunately, as we all know, insurance doesn't cover everything- especially MONTHS in the hospital and the daily care it takes by loved ones. Can you please help our angel fly home and give a little peace to the husband and family that she will leave behind? Thank you so much- your kindness would mean the world to this beautiful family.
