Leonard Family lost their Home to Fire

Jeff and Sarah Leonard lost their home to a fire early in the morning on November 29th, 2018. Sarah is a dedicated, loving, stay at home mother who has always been focused on guiding, and loving their children as they grow. Jeff is a hardworking, friendly and happy father and husband. He is also the sole provider for the family. They have 8 minor children between them. Six of those children were in the home, when the fire broke out. The oldest girls are Katie (13), Krysten (12) and Kayla (10), they also have a 4 year old little boy named Jack and a 2 year old little girl named Eiley. Their newest bundle of joy is James and he is 9 weeks old. Neighbors, Eric and Waylon, rushed to help get the family out of the burning home. Police, firefighters, EMS and neighbors saved their lives that night! The home where the family has always lived, was completely destroyed by the fire. They own the land where the home was located. Unfortunately, they did NOT have homeowners insurance. So, this is their only resource to buy a new home. Since this tragedy happened so close to Christmas, it will be even harder on the kids and parents. Please give what you can to try to make this Christmas season a little better for this wonderful family. All members of the family were treated for smoke inhalation and significant debris in their lungs. Sarah was in the burn unit. She suffered burns on her arms, bruises all over her body and a burn to her cornea. Considering all of this, Sarah is healing well and has been discharged from the hospital. James and Eiley were discharged after extensive treatment and observation. They are safely being cared for by loving, wonderful members of the family. Jeff is being medically sedated, while on the ventilator. He continues to heal everyday in the ICU. Jack is doing much better and is expected to be just fine. Katie and Kayla received treatment and were discharged. Kristen suffered a small burn on her face. She is also home with immediate family. We want to thank GOD! The outpouring of support from everyone has been a blessing for this family. It is asked that you continue to pray for The Leonard Family. When Sarah receives this money, it will be used to buy a home. She will also need to pay bills and financially take cre of 6 children. Now, that Sarah Leonard has been discharged from the hospital, she is able to collect the donation funds. Jeff is unable to do so, as he is still unconscious.
