BTW High School Foundation Fund Drive

The Booker T. Washington High School Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization

housed at the Booker T. Washington-Monteith Cultural Center at 6808 North

Main Street, Columbia, SC. The Foundation was organized to perpetuate the

history and legacy of Booker T. Washington High School which closed in 1974.

 

The Foundation is raising funds to replace the air conditioning ducts damaged by vandals. The lack of air circulating in the building will affect the preservation of

the original building, which is over 100 years old.

 

The funds raised from this drive will be used to remove and replace the damaged ducts, allow the air conditioner to function, and ensure that needed air and

heat circulates in the building.
