Buck Creek Sanctuary Non-Profit Launch Fundraiser
Tax deductible
I am proud to announce that Buck Creek Sanctuary has been designated a 501c3 not for profit organization! We have big plans for BCS. I hope you can help me with our core mission: To provide experiences in nature that educate, raise consciousness, and connect people with the natural world.
Education
My immediate plans are to develop an educational permaculture demonstration garden utilizing three sisters plantings, hugelkultur beds, and other permaculture techniques.
My long term goal is to establish Buck Creek Sanctuary as a education permaculture farm. We plan to engage a permaculture designer to develop a ten- year plan that includes establishing a food forest comprised of chestnut and other nut bearing and fruit trees, berries, and medicinal herbs. It would include water features such as ponds and swales as part of a natural irrigation system.
This diversity will also attract native wildlife and insects back into the landscape such as frogs, birds, and butterflies. Wood ducks, Otters and beavers have already been spotted at Buck Creek.
BCS is designated as a Botanical Sanctuary by the United Plant Savers. We will be creating a native and medicinal plant education trail so that we can share the healing power of nature. For more information on this project Watch the video here.
Connection
My guiding truth is that we are part of nature and must find our part to play within it by honoring all things as being sacred. I dedicate my life to personal growth, raising consciousness, health, and healing of the planet.
Through Buck Creek Sanctuary, I hope to share this truth and help others to identify their innate, but often ignored, connection to nature and the sacredness of all things. To this end, we will offer seasonal ceremonies, workshops, hikes, camping, and other nature immersion experiences that allow people to connect to nature, and see themselves as part of this sacred world, and return to seeing all things as being sacred.
Please help BCS succeed as a space where people can connect with nature, themselves, and each other by donating any amount and sharing this message.
Thank You!
Blessings,
Ken Kleiber, Founder
