Buckingham Family Flood Fund

My name is Erin and my family of 5 lives on West St in Antrim, NH. Logan (10) and Declan (9)go to AES, and Cadence (16) goes to Conval High.

Yesterday, 7/16/23, the river flooded and completely flooded our yard, driveway, and garage. This caused two sections of our basement/foundation to collapse, filling our entire basement to the ceiling (about 8ft) with water. This put our entire electrical panel and furnace under water. Our house is currently not livable, as the foundation is not structurally safe, and we have no electricity. We are having to stay elsewhere. And it looks like we are going to have to replace the furnace as well.

Insurance is not going to cover this based on the conversation I had with them today, FEMA has not declared NH a disaster area so they are unable to offer assistance as well. The state of NH also does not have emergency assistance at this time.

We are looking for help with expenses related to fixing the foundation, electricity, and furnace. I’ve put photos up of the damage, and any little bit helps us be able to get back to living in our home. I can’t thank everyone enough for their support and advice during this as I am completely over my head with what to do.
