Bucknell Student Grocery Gift Card Fund
Donation protected
Nationwide, 20-33 % of 4-year college students are food insecure. Food insecurity can mean a lot of different things, but at Bucknell University it can mean that students are skipping meals, losing weight, experiencing nutritional deficits, physical and mental fatigue, and relying on campus food pantries. This issue has become more critical following a recent change where the least expensive meal plan costs $1,400 and purchases only one meal per day.
Students cannot learn when they're hungry.
This gift card program provides impacted students with a weekly gift card to a local grocery store to supplement their required meal plan and to support individual nutritional needs.
Thank you for your contribution. Food insecurity is a persistent issue; students need consistent financial support. Please consider making a recurring donation to this fund.
