Iditarod musher Bud Smyth and his wife Kathleen Harms were in a terrible car accident on December 28th. Kat was flown down to Seattle's Harborview Medical Center for immediate life saving medical procedures. Bud flew to Seattle to be with Kat but was also admitted to Harborview upon arrival for medical treatment.
This Go Fund Me account is to help offset medical expenses and to assist with setting up their home to accomodate them during their long recovery.
Additionally, on March 1st there will be a benefit dinner at the Big Lake Lions Club Recreation Center in Big Lake, Alaska. At the dinner there will be a silent auction. Many incredible items that have generously been donated will be up for bid. Please join us for a fun social evening, great dinner and silent auction.
