Buddakan & Continental AC Employee Relief

This GoFundMe was started with the intent of friends helping friends at Buddakan & Continental Atlantic City.
We are raising funds to help support our fellow co-workers who are struggling in the current crisis, and provide aid to those in need. While a frightening time for all, the future for everyone in our industry holds especial uncertainty, as we are not only out of work, but unsure of what awaits us on our return. Some of our co-workers have yet to receive any sort of benefits, and after 2 months, with families and children to support and little to no income coming in, this situation becomes even more dire and is an every day struggle.
We are hoping to help support our friends and work family, by offering them some relief in these trying times.
This relief fund will focus on distributing both food products and various gift cards (Visa, grocery stores, pharmacies), while tailoring relief based on the individual's needs. We are working to help identify those most at risk, so that we can better lift up and support those who need our help the most.
This benefit is being led by chefs and management of our restaurants, and our wonderful staff is donating both their time and money. We have already recruited an army of volunteers, which is a testament to the strength of our restaurant family and their character, as they are willing to give of themselves while being out of work as well.
This fundraiser is largely directed at fellow members of our staff, our family, and our friends, but please, if you ever have enjoyed a Buddakan birthday meal, or a Continental Sunday brunch, we could use your help! Many of employees have worked with us for 5+ years, some have even been there since Day 1 over 10 years ago. Our restaurant is truly one big family, and part of the reason we are so good at what we do is because of our employees and the love we share. So we are asking you to help us spread some love and hospitality to the ones who provide it for us day in and day out!
All funds deposited into our Venmo, Zelle, and GoFundMe accounts are directed into an account solely opened for the purpose of raising and distributing funds for our staff. This effort is being led by our Buddakan chef team, Kris Neff, Dakota Curran, and John White, and beverage manager Angela Dellorco, with the rest of our team assisting any way they can as well.
