Buddy the Backyard Cat needs dental help

Buddy the Backyard Cat is an East Oakland hoodcat who has lived on my block in the Fruitvale District for about 10 years. He is a full-on love who was left behind by someone long ago and has since become a fixture of the neighborhood. He is not a fan of indoor living, preferring to roam the streets and make friends with everyone in the community, including members of the local chapter of the Hell's Angels (like I said, a true Hoodcat). About 3 years ago, he relocated himself to my backyard and I've been his primary caretaker since. He is FIV+ and therefore has BAD TEETH. For the past few months, I had noticed that his breath was pretty bad and he wasn't eating as vigorously as he once did. Dr. Leggieri at Claremont Veterinary Hospital  has given me an estimate of between $1500-$2000 for a teeth cleaning and multiple tooth extraction, something that I really can't afford right now.

Buddy deserves to live out his golden years continuing to be the lovable guy he is, which means he needs these teeth extracted. I know times are tough so a donation of any amount is appreciated. The money will go towards the vet bill (I've already spent about $300 on the initial visit and senior blood panel) and I'm hoping to get him scheduled for the extractions in the next few weeks.
