Buddy the Cat Memorial Hope Fund

Yesterday I checked in with my sister, Marianne.  I knew she was worried about her cat, Buddy, because he was sick, but I didn't know all that had happened.  Marianne is very proud and does not ask for help, and I really wish she had.  Turns out, Buddy had a blockage which required 4K to operate on.  Somehow, she managed to scrape the money together.  Before he even left the vet's office to come home, he got another blockage and was going to need more surgery to the tune of another 4K.  The vet does not offer payment plans, and she'd already spent 4K she didn't have, so she had to put him down.  I am going to help her even though she says she doesn't need it (she does) and hoped there may be others who would throw in a few bucks too.  The 4K she did spend on him was for things like rent and food.  She will be lost without her constant companion and she feels guilty that she couldn't save him.  I know I'm asking alot given the state of our economy and the burgeoning unemployment.  Please help if you can.  No amount is too small.
