Buddy, the trashman, awaiting brain surgery

Charles "Buddy" Reeves ( the "G man", as his jacket says) has been a household name in garbage collection for 44 years. He takes his job extremely seriously, professionally and has pride in what he does always. Never once did he not put the company first in his daily routine. He loved, cared for and always thought about all of his customers as friends and family to him, especially all of their children and animals. Each and everyday he shook hands, said "hello" or "good morning", and always had a dog biscuit handy for their companions and his four-legged best friends. His work ethic is impeccable, priding himself on attendance, service and safety. He is such a selfless person and always takes care of everyone around him. Last Tuesday, Buddy had an episode while driving which the EMS originally thought was a stroke. He has since been diagnosed with a brain mass putting pressure on the brain. He has now returned home and is resting and taking it easy, awaiting probable brain surgery. He will now be out of work for an unknown amount of time until he is completely healed, which is causing mental, emotional and financial strain. As embarrassing as it is, he needs any help people are willing to give. He wishes he can be at work to see all of his friends and wish everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and to say God Bless to everyone! I, being his wife, along with his brother-in-law, Al, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your time and generosity. Let us all hope and pray he will be back to do it all again in person to see everyone sooner than later. THANK YOU!
