Help Buddy bounce back!

Buddy didn't walk into our lives; he bounced in. 



Then he curled up, put his chin on our chest, and  let us know he was never going to leave.


If you've ever met Buddy, he probably brightened your day.



Whether liked you so much he couldn't stop shaking your hand, gave you a big kiss on the cheek, or started to full on cuddle you where you stood, he let you know he was your friend the minute he met you. That's why everybody loves Buddy.


Now, Buddy needs his friends to get better.
Buddy recently jumped over a 3-foot fence while chasing a squirrel without realizing there was a 10 foot drop on the other side. He tore a ligament in his right paw. We're looking at every conservative and alternative treatment, but the best medical advice says that if we want a full, healthy recovery, he'll need a very expensive surgery.



We want many more years of our happy bouncing dog filling our lives with joy and brightening other people's days. We hope you do too. 


Buddy is so well loved, that people who saw he was seriously hurt asked us to start a crowdfunding campaign. We knew taking on a dog was a big financial responsibility, but we never anticipated bills topping $3,000 from a single incident.  Moreover, we'll be forced to finance most of what we can't raise, so every dollar given now will save us a lot in interest down the road.



So, if you've ever seen Buddy be the happiest guest at a house party, or had him try to hop into bed and cuddle with you when you stayed with us, or nearly been knocked over because he leaned on you with all of his 104 pounds to show you just how much he loved you, together we can make Buddy remember this like it was nothing but a bad dream.



We can promise donors a small token of our appreciation and, geography permitting, we'd love to bring Buddy to your next house party, barbecue or general shindig. Buddy will also be available at our home address for unlimited cuddles, hugs and other forms of wellwishing.


We're humbled and honored by the outpouring of support for our beloved puppito. Our friends and family have shown us a new level of compassion and empathy, and we couldn't be more grateful.
