Buffalo deployment: Tri-State K-9 Response Team

Tri-State Canine Response Team was heartbroken to learn of the mass shooting in Buffalo, New York on Saturday, May 14th. The team has been requested to deploy and is sending five certified dog/crisis counselor teams and an additional crisis counselor to provide services to the first responders and the community. Tri-State will be in Buffalo from May 16-20 with the possibility of staying longer as needed.

Tri-State Canine Crisis Response Team’s Mission is provide comfort to First Responders, families, communities and individuals during times of disaster, catastrophe and violence by providing trained dog and crisis counselor teams.

My dog, Hazel and I, are one of the five teams deploying to Buffalo. I am coordinating an effort to raise money to benefit Tri-State Canine Response Team, and all donations will be put directly toward the costs associated with the Buffalo deployment.
