Buffalo Memorial
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Ron Insana. My friend and colleague, Luke Russert, with whose father I worked for many years and, like me, hailed from Buffalo, had a truly compassionate idea which he shared on Twitter today. He suggested that the families of the victims of today's massacre at a Tops Supermarket in Buffalo should not have to bear the additional burden of paying to lay their loved ones to rest. In that spirit, I would like to raise $200,000 to ensure that those ten innocent souls are given the final services that may well be too costly for their families to bear. I am donating $5,000 to launch the effort. I would most certainly hope that my friends and colleagues in media who, like me, were born in, raised in, or worked in Buffalo, would also be among the first to take up this cause. Our hearts, souls, thoughts and prayers are with the grieving families of this most heinous act of premeditated and racially motivated murder. Please help ease at least some of the burden on these brothers and sisters of ours.
